Gota work always includes a ribbon which is either in silver or gold immitation and is used to form several shapes and motifs before being stitched onto the fabric or piece of cloth. Zari or Zari Work as it is known, is an intricate art of weaving threads made of fine gold or silver immitations. These threads are further woven into fabrics, primarily made of silk to create intricate patterns. It is one of the most famous & elaborate techniques in metal embroidery.
